Rescanlating Policy

Rescanlating is when a project already scanlated is taken in part and scanlated again. The most common form of this is for translations into languages other than English. This is not to be confused with going through the entire scanlation process and scanlating a project already released in English into another language.

Nakama does not allow any of their projects to be "rescanlated".

This means that no, you cannot take our English translations and retranslate them into _insert your language of choice here_. Our Japanese translators work hard and would appreciate that their hard work not be taken as a simple commodity to be outsourced.

The answer is also no, you cannot use our scans and reclean and re-edit them. Not only would the over-processing of the files lower the quality of the work, but you're doing nothing to help support the mangakas at all. Buy the books. Take the time to scan them yourselves. Feel the pain-staking drama that is scanning. *squishes Nakama's scanners to death*

Any requests in regards to rescanlating will be ignored.

General Graphics Policy

You are free to use images to create graphics for your website, including layouts, banners, icons, wallpaper, etc - as long as it is not for profit. Anything for profit infringes on the original copyright holders of the work and would only get you and us into a lot of trouble. Don't be an idiot.

If you do use images for graphics, it would be appreciated if you credited where you found them by linking to us, or at least mentioning Nakama and of course, mentioning the mangaka would be ultra-cool. Sending us an email to let us know where we can find your creations wouldn't be a bad idea either, it's possible that we might link to them or promote them in our graphic and goodies section. <3
